Teachers of the English Department participated in the seminar entitled “Teaching Strategies that Help Motivate and Engage Language Learners” on December 30, 2016. The seminar, hosted by Ms. Erika McIntyre, American teacher with the English Department, focuses on the following topics: western and eastern teaching methods, teacher-centered vs. student-centered instruction, interactive instruction strategies, student motivation and setting goals, to name just few. Ms. McIntyre presents her ideas on them, at the same time encourage her counterparts to negotiate, and find applicable solutions all together.

   All the participants cherish this activity, and are eager for the next seminar of the same kind. Their smiles tell us that the seminar is a great success.
